Security
- OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Tokens are bound to one workspace, chosen on the consent screen.
- Refresh tokens rotate, and reuse of an old one revokes the chain.
- Read-only tools over pre-computed aggregates. No raw API passthrough.
- Every response carries its as-of date, freshness and attributed share.
- Every call is audit-logged. Revoke a client any time from settings.
Questions
Which assistants does it work with?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth, including Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. You add it as a custom connector with one URL.
Can the assistant change my data?
No. The server is read-only. It serves pre-computed metrics and never passes requests through to Stripe or Google.
What does the model see about my customers?
Aggregates and labels. Customer emails are masked, responses are capped at 50 rows, and every call is written to an audit log you can review.
Why not use Stripe's or Google's own MCP servers?
Each one sees a single source, and the model recomputes metrics its own way on every answer. Joinsight's tools return the joined numbers with fixed definitions, so the answer in chat matches the dashboard.
